In his 15 years of experience, Joe has built and rebuilt security risk management programs, challenging the status quo with a focus on impact. This experience building includes third party risk management, client security management, enterprise risk management and internal audit programs. Under Joe’s leadership, these programs have prevented data breaches, thwarted cyber threats, furthered compliance, driven organization-level remediation & resolved incidents.
Stephen Fitzgerald
The director of the Analytics and Information Management (AIM) program at the University of Connecticut, Stephen is an information security professional and a lifelong educator with over a decade of experience designing and leading academic programs. Stephen combines the art and science of education to convey complex ideas. Whether in the classroom or developing training initiatives, his approach is always rooted in fostering engagement, transparency, and learner agency.
We’ve made careers out of building and maintaining complicated programs. We enjoy collectively solving nuanced problems and we have unique hands-on experiences that help us understand practitioner challenges.
